Rev. Dale Wallace

Reverend Dale Wallace began his ministry as Interim Pastor of Fairview Baptist Church on November 30, 2025. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Shorter College in Religion and Philosophy in 1990. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1993. Before coming to Fairview, Dale served two other churches over the past 28 years, serving at Antioch Baptist Church and Simmons Grove Baptist. He also served as Interim Pastor for Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Rockford Baptist Church. He and his wife, Wanda, have a son Matthew, four granddaughters and one great grandson.

Christian Wilson

Christian Wilson is the Minister of Youth and Evangelism here at Fairview Baptist Church. Christian graduated from Carolina University with a Bachelor degree in Biblical Studies. While in college, Christian participated in campus outreach and events. His biggest passion is apologetics and preparing the youth for the future. His goal at Fairview is to make sure the youth grow in Christ and have a solid Biblical Worldview as they go out into the world.

Cheryl Stanley

Cheryl Stanley is the Preschool and Children’s Director at Fairview Baptist Church. She graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree from Surry Community College in Dobson, NC. Cheryl worked for 22 years at Dobson First Baptist Church as Playschool Director and 5 years with Surry County Schools as a teaching assistant. She is married to Bobby Stanley and they have 2 children and their spouses, Brett and Hannah Stanley and Megan and Dillon Lewis and 4 grandchildren, Jack, Jude and Wilson Stanley and Millie Lewis.

 

Elizabeth Edwards

Elizabeth Edwards recently joined our staff by serving as the Fairview Worship Leader. She graduated with a bachelors degree in Biology from Appalachian State University. She grew up singing in the church choir, singing in school choirs and performing solos. Her passion is worshiping the Lord with others and praising His name for all to hear. Supporting her in this role is her husband Jake Edwards. 

Kathy White

Kathy White serves as the Director of Technology for Fairview Baptist Church. She graduated from Gardner Webb University with a degree in Business Administration and Appalachian State University with a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology. She is a retired technology educator from Surry County Schools. She is married to Ricky White and they have two sons and daughters-in-law (Jake  & Brooke and Jordan & Emily) and five grandchildren (Emery, Tate, Bailey, Allie and Tinsley).
